By using our Site and services, you agree to this combined Privacy Policy & Terms of Use (“Policy”).

1) Data We Collect

  • Identity & Contact: name, phone, email, address.

  • Medical/Diagnostic: test orders, samples, results, clinical notes (as needed to provide services).

  • Usage & Tech: booking details, IP/browser, cookies/analytics limited to service performance.

2) How We Use Data (Legal Bases)

  • Deliver services: register, collect samples, run tests, share digital reports; provide support and reminders.

  • Operate & secure systems: QA, auditing, fraud/security, legal compliance.

  • Legal bases: consent; contract (providing tests/reports); legitimate interests; and obligations under Nepal law.

3) Communication Channel

We use WhatsApp, Email, SMS for confirmations, reminders, and report-related updates. Messages are protected by end-to-end encryption provided by such third parties; however, they are third-party platform with its own terms. Do not share passwords/OTPs as we will never ask them.

4) Authorized Data-Request Handler (Antlrbyte Technologies Pvt. Ltd.)

  • Capacity & scope. Antlrbyte Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Antlrbyte”) acts only as NMC’s technical processor, handling privacy/data-subject requests strictly under NMC’s documented instructions and confidentiality obligations; Antlrbyte is not a data controller for patient/customer data.

  • No direct relationship. Antlrbyte is not a party to end-user contracts and has no direct obligations to end users; communications and responses are provided in NMC’s name.

  • Liability allocation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antlrbyte disclaims all warranties to end users and is not liable for any acts/omissions, delays, outages, inaccuracies, or security events related to Antlrbyte’s systems or its third-party providers. Any claims regarding services or data handling must be directed to NMC (the controller). This does not limit responsibilities that cannot be excluded by law.

  • Your consent. By contacting NMC or submitting a data request, you consent to Antlrbyte processing the minimum necessary information for verification, routing, and handover to NMC.

5) Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share with: (a) authorized processors (e.g., IT/support partners, including Antlrbyte); (b) healthcare providers/you at your request; and (c) authorities when legally required. (Aligned with standard lab disclosures for treatment/operations.)

6) Security

We apply layered safeguards (access controls, encryption in transit, logging, staff training). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect confidentiality and integrity of lab data.

7) Your Rights (Nepal)

Subject to law, you may access, correct, delete, or object/restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where applicable. We verify identity before acting. (Based on Nepal’s Individual Privacy Act, 2018.)

8) Cookies & Analytics

Only what’s necessary for core functions and basic performance insights. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may not work.

9) Terms of Use

  • Acceptable use: no interference, scraping, reverse engineering, malware, or IP infringement.

  • Medical disclaimer: Site content is informational and not a substitute for medical advice; rely on clinician interpretation of reports.

  • IP: Site content is owned by NMC; a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license is granted for personal lawful use.

  • Third-party links (incl. WhatsApp): governed by their policies; we aren’t responsible for their practices.

  • Liability: to the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect/consequential losses or issues beyond our control (e.g., third-party outages).

11) Changes

We may update this Policy; the “Effective” date will change. Continued use means you accept updates.
